2. Legal basis

Personal data is processed on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021).

3. Data collected automatically

When you visit this website the server automatically records the following data in log files:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Pages requested
  • The browser's transmitted language preference (Accept-Language)
  • Internet service provider

This data is not combined with other sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically faultless presentation and optimisation of the website).

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Netlify processes the access data described above as a processor acting on our behalf.

4. Contact form, enquiries and the brief

There are two places where you can send us data. Through the contact form or by email: name, email address, telephone number, message and any further details, for the purpose of handling your enquiry. And through the form used to request our investment brief: first name, last name and email address, for the purpose of sending it and any follow-up about it.

In both cases the data is retained for six months and then deleted, unless a statutory retention obligation applies. Submission runs through the forms system of our host Netlify, which acts as a processor for that purpose.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data is not passed to any further third party without your express consent.

5. No cookies, one local note to self

This website sets no cookies, neither its own nor anyone else's. You can verify that in your browser's developer tools on this very page.

We do place a single entry in your browser's local storage, and only once you close or submit the panel offering our investment brief. It is called aegistierra_lead_popup and holds nothing but the value shown. Its only purpose is not to show you the same panel twice. It contains no identifier, does not follow you, and is transmitted to nobody. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

6. Cookieless analytics

We measure page views using Umami, operated by Umami Software, Inc. Umami sets no cookies, assigns no visitor identifier and builds no cross-device profile.

On each page view the following is transmitted to gateway.umami.is: the address requested, the page title, the referring page, your screen resolution and your browser's language setting. Requesting the measurement script from cloud.umami.is additionally transmits your IP address as a technical necessity.

We also report a few named events, so that we know which offers are used: requesting the brief, submitting an enquiry, opening the scheduling link, and use of the land calculator together with the budget figure set there. These events contain nothing about you as a person. In particular your name, your email address and the entries from the enquiry form are never transmitted to the analytics service.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in data-minimising analytics). The provider's privacy information is at umami.is/privacy.

7. Fonts and external services

The typefaces used on this website are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service, and your IP address is not transmitted to anyone for that purpose.

This website embeds no maps, no videos, no advertising networks, no social network buttons and no chat services. Apart from the measurement script described in section 6, no third-party content is loaded when you open our pages.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), to obtain information about the data processed
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to have your data deleted
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18 GDPR), to have processing restricted
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), to receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR), to object to the processing
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR), to withdraw consent at any time
